MDA's Wings Over Wall Street® 2012
As Wings marked it's 12th year battling ALS, we remembered Robert Amaro, recipient of our 2012 Spirit Award, who was taken by ALS just over a month before the event. With dedication, passion, and commitment to funding ALS research, this year's Wings flew to new heights. Thanks to the unwavering support of all those who seek a cure for ALS, Wings will once again fund vital research that will help us reach our goal. -

On Thursday, September 22nd, the Wings gala event took place at Gotham Hall in New York City. It was another amazing night, as hundreds turned out to show their support for the fight against ALS. With markets falling and the economy struggling, all of us at Wings were humbled by the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Everyone came together on this special night to truly make a difference in the lives of those with ALS. -

Wings celebrates its 10th Anniversary. A decade of effort has turned Wings into a major ALS research funding event and a destination event for the Wall Street community. Natalie Morales from NBC's Today Show hosts at Gotham Hall. Michael Marrale and Angela Sun co-chair. -

Wings faces an uncertain economy, but co-chairs Ray Tierney and Matt DeSalvo lead Wings to an increase in funds over 2008. CNBC's Joe Kernan and LX.TV's Sara Gore host at our new venue Gotham Hall, and Fox5/My9’s Giovanna Drpic serves as a great auctioneer. -

Passion, resolve, commitment, and generosity were the themes of this year's event. Losing co-founder Toni Diamond and 2004 Spirit Award winner Andy Knipe was an immense challenge. Wings rises to the occasion, raising over $900,000. -
