Sandy's wrath devastated a large part of the Northeast, and loss and rebuilding have become the watchwords of the day.  In the ALS community, loss and rebuilding of lives without loved ones continued as well.  We offer our thoughts and prayers for all those affected.

2013 is almost upon us, so all of us at Wings want to wish all of you the healthiest, happiest, and most prosperous of New Years.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for all your support and generosity.  Please stay with us as we continue, with hope, passion, commitment, and love, fighting against ALS until effective treatments and a cure are found.

Robert A. Amaro II was to receive the Wings Spririt Award next Thursday at the Wings gala at Gotham Hall in NYC.

The Spirit Award is given to a person or persons who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment and dedication to the eradication of ALS by raising awareness, advocating for funding, and promoting research for a cure.

Schiffer and Executive Committee Member Larry Schiffer around 10:08 PM on MY9 in the NY/NJ/CT tristate area.
