For the third consecutive year, MDA’s Wings Over Wall Street is honored to participate in BTIG’s Commissions for Charity Day, to be held tomorrow, April 18, 2012.

The success of the day is determined entirely by how much business accounts choose to do with BTIG on that day. Wings Mourns the Loss of David Deutsch, Spirit Award Winner

All of us at Wings are deeply saddened by the loss of David Deutsch, our 2007 Spirit Award Winner. David has inspired so many people in his life, before he had ALS and after. We invite you to view David and his family's Spirit Award acceptance video that was filmed in 2007 (below), to appreciate the courage, strength, and passion that David and his family display. We will miss you David. RIP.

Wings remains dedicated to continuing David's fight against ALS.

Wings Mourns the Loss of Harlan Homes, Spirit Award Winner

All of us at Wings mark with great sadness the loss of Harlan Homes, 2011 Spirit Award Winner. Harlan, along with his family, demonstrated a remarkably positive and hopeful attitude about living with and curing ALS. This was very evident in the work of Harlan's sons Harper and Henry. They recently organized and launched Party on the Park, an MDA's Wings Over Wall Street fundraising event to fund ALS research, which was held on September 30th. Harper and Henry were able to share the story of their success with their father, as this ignaugural event brought in approximately $36,000 for ALS research. On Thursday, September 22nd, the Wings gala event took place at Gotham Hall in New York City. It was another amazing night, as hundreds turned out to show their support for the fight against ALS. With markets falling and the economy struggling, all of us at Wings were humbled by the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Everyone came together on this special night to truly make a difference in the lives of those with ALS. While donations are still coming in, Wings raised well over half a million dollars that will go into the hands of ALS researchers. Guests also got a chance to see the Diamond, Beier, Spirit, and Humantarian awards presented, as well enjoy great music, food, drink, exciting live and silent auctions, and networking opportunities.

All of us at Wings offer our sincerest gratitude for your support, especially during difficult economic times. Those with ALS have it exceedingly rough, no matter what the markets do, so we thank you for helping to ease their journey.
